NEL Carers’ Voice – Independent Forum for Carers in North East Lincolnshire
The NEL Carers’ Voice is an independent and welcoming forum of unpaid carers from across North East Lincolnshire. The forum is a group of people with lived experience of caring for a family member, friend, or neighbour who cannot manage without support.
As a forum, they actively take part in key decisions that affect carers locally. Working alongside health services, local authorities, and community organisations to ensure carers’ voices are heard at every level. Together, they push for change where improvements are needed and shine a light on the vital role carers play in our community. For example the forum supported and designed “A Carers’ Guide to the Hospital”.
By joining the Carers’ Voice, you can share your experiences, learn from others, and exchange practical advice to tackle everyday challenges. You’ll also help make sure local carers have a strong, united voice.
