What are the benefits of coming to our Carer Peer Support Groups?
Attending a group enables you to share your experiences and support each other as equals, and in ways that build resilience and address what matters most to you in your everyday life.
Carer peer support also has the potential to provide the emotional and practical support that is often needed to prevent carer breakdown.
It is different from other types of support because the source of support is a similar person with relevant experience and we will listen to you without judgement and in a confidential way.
Come along if you would like to gain or share knowledge, experience, emotional assistance, practical help, and social interaction to help each other.
If you’re unable to make a group due to your caring role please contact us.
