First Aid Workshop
First Aid Workshop
Do you know what to do in a medical emergency?
Caring for a loved one can be rewarding, but emergencies can happen at any time. Knowing how to respond quickly and confidently can make a real difference. That is why our First Aid Workshop is designed specifically for carers.
During this practical session, you will learn essential first aid skills, including how to perform CPR and deal with choking. The workshop also covers treating cuts, managing falls, and other common emergencies carers may face either in their caring role, or everyday life. Each first aid activity is explained step by step, so you can feel more confident handling unexpected situations.
The session is hands-on, interactive, and filled with helpful advice that you can apply immediately. You will practise simple techniques, gain valuable knowledge, and leave with greater peace of mind. These skills could help protect the person you care for and reduce your own stress in difficult moments.
