Information and Support

The Carers’ Support Service team are here to provide you with the information, advice and support that you need when you need it… and on the rare occasion that we can’t, we will put you in touch with the right services that can.

Our team is available, on the phone 7 days a week, Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and Weekends 9am to 5pm.

The centre is open Monday 8am to 8pm. Tuesday and Wednesday 8am to 5pm. Thursday 8am to 8pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm. We are based at 11 Redcombe Lane, Brigg, North Lincolnshire, DN20 8AU.

The website is full of valuable information on a range of topics such as finances and cost of living, Dementia, Your Rights, Housing, Mental Health, Safeguarding and much more.

How can we help?

You may have questions about your caring role if you are struggling to manage, or you may want to know about adaptations in the home that will help the person you care for move around the home safely. You may want to know about local groups, workshops, getting support from the council or when the person you care for has a stay in hospital. No question is too big or small, we will do our best to help.

Intensive Support

It is common for Carers to experience challenges that they can’t navigate alone. This could be because of the challenges related to working with other professionals, your employer not supporting you as a Carer or the intense physical and emotional toll your caring role is having on you. Our team will support you closely to get you through the acute challenges you are experiencing because of your caring role. We will work with you and other organisations to ensure that you are accessing all appropriate support that you are eligible to access.
