The Brigg Carer Peer Support Group— is a friendly, welcoming space for unpaid carers to meet, share, and connect.
This group meets Meets on the third Thursday of every month from 1pm to 3pm at The Carers’ Support Service, 11 Redcombe Lane, Brigg, DN20 8AU

Simply come to the sessions when you can. Our sessions are relaxed and informal. This gives you the chance to take a break from your caring responsibilities while enjoying friendly conversation and mutual support.
Peer support is about more than just chatting—it’s about building a network of people who “get it.” Here, you can share your own experiences, hear from others in similar situations, and exchange practical tips on topics like managing health appointments, accessing local services, balancing self-care with your caring role, and navigating benefits or funding support.
The group is facilitated by the team at The Carers Support Service. The team are on hand to offer free, confidential advice and guidance tailored to your needs. Whether you need information on carers’ rights, emotional support, or signposting to specialist help, we’re here for you.
Joining this group could be the first step toward feeling less isolated, more confident, and better supported in your role. You don’t have to care alone—there’s a community here for you.
There is no need to book, turn up on the day and you will be made to feel very welcome.
