Tai Chi for Carers – Brigg
Tai Chi supports your wellbeing through slow, mindful movement. It improves strength, balance, and relaxation in one simple practice.
Our Tai Chi sessions offer a hands-on way for unpaid carers to care for themselves. You learn gentle exercises in a friendly group at the Carers Support Service.

Tai Chi enhances balance and coordination to help reduce the risk of falls. Its flowing movements also boost flexibility and core strength while being easy on the joints. Many participants report feeling calmer and more grounded after each class.
These sessions help manage stress. The deliberate, mindful motions and controlled breathing help release tension. This gentle practice reduces anxiety, supports mood, and enhances mental clarity.
Classes run monthly lasting around one hour. Our experienced instructors welcome all abilities and offer modifications to suit each attendee’s mobility level.
