This is a frontline Carer Coach and Support role, combining information, advice and guidance with intensive time limited support. The post holder will be a friendly, caring and compassionate team player with a practical, solution-focused approach to supporting Carers.
You will support Carers to continue in their caring role safely and with confidence, achieve positive outcomes for themselves and the people they care for, and feel valued, informed and included. You will empower Carers to access the right support, at the right time, in the right way, and encourage them to look after their own health and wellbeing.
The role involves both responsive ‘first contact’ support and more intensive, time-limited casework when Carers are experiencing specific challenges. You will also contribute to outreach, Carer awareness, partnership working and the wider strategic aims of the organisation.

This post is responsible for developing and organising a program of skills and knowledge training and workshops to meet the needs of unpaid Carers throughout Northern Lincolnshire.
This is an exciting role, suitable for someone that truly understands the benefits training can bring and that is skilled in delivering training and working with a diverse range of people.
You will have an enthusiasm for supporting Carers and an understanding of the important part training plays in helping a Carer manage and maintain their caring role. You will need to have drive and determination as you will work with Carers and professionals to explore opportunities and expand the range of training and workshops delivered.
