Drop in session with Focus Adult Social Care
Focus Adult Social Care Drop-In Sessions
If you’re an unpaid carer in North or North East Lincolnshire, navigating social care information can feel overwhelming. That’s why the Carers Support Service—in partnership with Focus Adult Social Care (Single Point of Access, SPA)—runs regular Drop-In Sessions to make accessing support simple, friendly, and hassle-free.
What You Can Expect
These sessions deliver practical social care advice and signposting tailored for carers. You’ll get help with a range of topics, including:
– Support at home and navigating carers’ assessments
– Guidance on eligibility for disability or sensory support
– Referrals to occupational therapy services or reablement schemes
– Safeguarding guidance and next-step planning
– Early insights into funding, care processes, and longer-term assistance
Focus SPA, a 24/7 service in North East Lincolnshire, handles thousands of adult social care enquiries every year. They act as a central hub—introducing callers to the right services, services like ours, and onward referrals where needed. More information about FOCUS can be found here:
