Counselling gives Carers the opportunity to work through difficult emotional challenges relating to their caring role.
To access this support, you will talk to our volunteer co-ordinator. They will talk to you about your needs and make sure we are able to provide the counselling support you need.
Counselling can help you to understand your feelings so that you can make decisions that are right for you.
Counselling is free and confidential. Offering you the chance to talk thinks through in a relaxed way. Counselling is not about telling you what do to, judging you or making you feel uncomfortable
In some circumstances we may not be able to meet your needs. We will always put you in touch with other services should this be the case.
Our counsellors are all volunteer students who are in the final year of their degree. We have supported thousands of Carers via our counselling service since it began over 10 years ago.
