Carers’ Strategy
In North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire

The All-Age Carers Strategy 2022 –2026 for North Lincolnshire has now been published by North Lincolnshire Council.
It has been written for and has the support of carers, partners and other key stakeholders to offer all carers, which include those who are adults, parents, working or young carers, an opportunity to live, work, stay connected and be a vital part of their local communities.
The vision for Carers in North East Lincolnshire is that “Carers of all ages in North East Lincolnshire are recognised for the vital contribution they make, and have a strong voice that influences improvements to support and services for carers. They are respected as partners in care and can access information, advice and support when they need it, and in the way that they choose. Carers are not expected to provide care, but if they choose to do so, they are supported to look after their own health and wellbeing and to have a life outside of their caring role, in work, education, training or leisure.”
Over the next 3 years, the Carers Partnership will work with the carer community, health and care workforce and wider system partners to increase the identification of carers, improve access to information, drive improvements around support and services for carers and improve routes for feedback on services that impact carers.
The new North East Lincolnshire Carers Strategy 2023-2026 sets out the priorities and work that needs to be done to realise this vision.
